I’ve been away a long time.  During my trips, I took lots of photos, mostly of scenery in New Zealand.  Above is a shot of Mt. Cook taken on a rare sunny afternoon.

I can understand why they made The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings in New Zealand.  It is a wild and beautiful country.  I look forward to painting those glorious landscapes.
