What is it about “Grief”?

My painting, “Grief”, seems to have touched a lot of people. It is not a happy painting; it is more of a reminder of what we all experience at some time in our lives. I am grateful that it has helped bring some measure of comfort to them.

The Pandemic

The pandemic has affected people’s lives around the world. We just got back from a long trip and immediately had to shelter in place. Fortunately, we have a back garden and a deck where we can watch birds and other creatures. We have a lot of free time to do what we enjoy, so besides watching movies, I started working on my watercolor painting skills or lack thereof. Below are a few pieces which I deemed decent enough to show.
